About the Foundation
The “Amar es el Milagro” Foundation was born from a very personal journey, full of challenges and lessons. As parents of a child with PKU, we found ourselves on an unfamiliar path, without the information or support needed to understand and accept what was happening in our lives. We knew we had to learn, but above all, we knew we had to love unconditionally.
This journey changed us forever, and over time, we realized we were not alone in this struggle. That was when we decided to found “Amar es el Milagro” to accompany other families facing the same challenge, providing them with the support, information, and tools we wished we had from the very beginning. Additionally, we committed to promoting nutritional education for all children, helping them develop healthy habits that strengthen their well-being throughout life.
Our Mission
The reason for being of the “Amar es el Milagro” Foundation is comprehensive care for children and families affected by PKU and other inherited metabolic disorders. Our mission is to provide emotional, practical, and educational support to improve their quality of life.
We know that a child with PKU not only requires a special diet and supplements, but also an environment filled with unconditional love and the constant presence of their parents. Additionally, we are dedicated to fostering nutritional education for all children, promoting the conscious consumption of healthy foods that benefit both their physical and emotional development.
